O Group recognised for Community Contribution

The O Group is a community partnership that brings together Findstaff.biz, NGT Tasmania, Business & Employment and CHOICE Employment.
Together these businesses use their resources, people and knowledge to seek employment, training and business solutions for every Tasmanian.
The community partnership was recently recognised for its valuable contribution to communities on the North West Coast when it was named winner of the "Community Contribution" category of the North West Commerce and Industry Awards.
The award was presented to Charlie Emmerton, Executive Manager of the O Group, at a Gala Dinner held in Devonport on 1 March 2008.
Andrew Billing, Chief Executive Office of the O Group said "our often challenging work makes a great contribution to the community and it is wonderful to have this recognised through an award like this one." Mr Billing went on to thank all staff for the work they do with jobseekers, apprentices and trainees, employers, students, small business and other community groups stating that "our contribution to the Tasmanian community is broad and we are justified in the pride we take in winning this award."
In it's third year, the North West Commerce and Industry Awards are open to all businesses in the 64 telephone area.
